Dakota Athletic Boosters Information
Anyone who has a child involved with a junior high or school sport or activity at Dakota is a member of the Dakota Athletic Boosters!
Sports include: volleyball, football, golf, cross country, soccer, basketball, wrestling, hockey, bowling, softball, baseball, and track.
Activities include: band, chorus, academic bowl, and bass fishing.
Items the boosters have helped purchase through the years include: the track, softball and baseball fields, fencing around track, cross country uniforms, golf bags, timing system for home track meets, baseball uniforms, mural painting in the high school gym and on the football field/track wall, volleyball equipment, basketball uniforms, football headsets, football uniforms, track tent, cross country tent, softball uniforms, state wrestling welcome back celebrations, charter bus for wrestling trips to Florida, cement sidewalk to the baseball and softball fields, scorer's table in the high school gym, new roof on the football/track concession stand, high school gym sports audio system, portable audio system for outdoor events, gifts for state qualifiers, charter bus for the pep band to play in Champaign at the state boy's basketball tournament, athletic scholarships, numbers, letters, and pins for all high school athletes.
